Premium 220 GSM heavyweight cotton Regular fit 30 Day Returns
🏷️ Description

Before cloud storage, USB sticks and terabytes of data, all you needed was a pocket and a 3.5-inch floppy disk.

With a massive 1.44MB of storage, you could carry your assignments, documents, favourite games and important files wherever you went. Well, as long as they fitted.

A nostalgic tribute to the days when portable storage really meant portable, and carrying an entire digital world in your pocket felt like the future.

Because sometimes the biggest memories came on the smallest disks.

Behold! my 286.

This was my beast. And I loved it.

My 1991 Intel 286 computer setup at home

With both 5¼-inch and 3½-inch floppy drives, it ran XTree Gold, Lotus 1-2-3 and Windows 3.0. Later, DoubleSpace helped squeeze every last megabyte out of that drive.

I still remember tweaking CONFIG.SYS - adding DOS=HIGH to free up enough conventional memory to get Wolfenstein 3D running.

That fascination never left. I’m still in tech today.

Every RUZE design starts with a memory like this one.
